Amber Lessard

Amber Lessard is a dedicated Dental Hygienist who has been in the industry for over 30 years. A proud graduate of the University of Alberta’s Dental Hygiene Diploma program, Amber brings a wealth of experience, particularly in general dentistry focused on families and aging individuals, with three years dedicated to preventive paediatric oral care.

Amber’s philosophy centres on patient comfort rather than speed. She prioritizes establishing trust, and providing thorough oral hygiene care. Her approach is grounded in the ethical principle of treating others as she would like to be treated, ensuring each patient receives personalized, compassionate and superior quality care.

Amber’s greatest achievements include successfully raising her three children and spending time with her two grandchildren. She is deeply involved in her community, having volunteered with Alberta Health Services, served on the Board of Calgary and Area Children and Family Services for nine years, and currently serving on the Board of the Aboriginal Friendship Centre of Calgary. Amber is Metis and takes pride in her family’s history in Canada.

Amber appreciates the beautiful view from her workplace and values Dr. Mehta’s personality and practice philosophy, which aligns with her own values of relationship building and teamwork.
